Have you fallen into “The Entrepreneur’s Trap”?

Want out? “The Entrepreneur’s Trap: How to Stop Working Too Much, Take Back Your Time and Enjoy Life” by Tina Forsyth is the key to escape.

Remember when you made the decision to be an entrepreneur? You probably wanted control of something, was it time? Profits? Now that you are living the dream, does it feel like life is out of control?

Yes it is fun and exciting to be an entrepreneur. Many of us are solopreneurs, too. We understand the allure of not reporting to “the man” and the stress and pressure of being “the man” in our company. What can we do to gain the control we sought in the first place?

Have no fear, Tina Forsyth is here! In her book, “The Entrepreneur’s Trap: How to Stop Working Too Much, Take Back Your Time and Enjoy Life” she identifies the “trap” this way, “when the time, money, and effort that you are putting into your business is not worth the return you are getting.” She explores the reasons this happens and then she gives you strategies and solutions. The best part of this 182 page book is it is full of resources.

I like “The Entrepreneur’s Trap” because it is not an academic textbook or a C-level theoretical work full of corporate mumbo-jumbo jargon. This book is a practical, tried and true, guide. Her passion for helping others oozes from the pages. Even though you are the reader, you feel as if you are having a conversation with the author.

As you close out the year 2012 and prepare for the new year, 2013, “The Entrepreneur’s Trap” is a great way to find inspiration to renew your energy in your business. Leave your old ways behind you. Embrace new, efficient and productive ways.

(P.S. Remember to hire me, as your OBM, to help you implement your new strategies! Not sure if you are ready to hire an OBM? Be sure to read chapter 10 “Your Team” of “The Entrepreneur’s Trap: How to Stop Working Too Much, Take Back Your Time and Enjoy Life” by Tina Forsyth.)
